HOW IT WORKS

Hypnotherapy is a safe and proven method of changing eating and exercise behaviour patterns . Through focusing the mind while in a relaxed state, free of outside distractions and all the negatives, the subconscious becomes reprogrammed to adopt behaviour patterns which will lead to weight loss.

Simply read the brief instruction manual on the CD then listen to the relaxation therapy and weight reduction therapy . The relaxation therapy helps reduce eating due to stress and tension and prepares you for the hypnotic state. It takes about a half hour a day initially then less than 20 minutes three times a week.

You let it work on yourself with the help of the power of your subconscious mind . Hypnosis creates a state of suggestibility with means you more easily take in the advice given and act upon it. This reprogramming means instead of automatically eating the wrong sort of food without thinking, the subconscious stops you and directs you to the healthier lower calorie alternative .

The reprogramming starts when you do your grocery shop helping you to choose low calorie nutritious foods as well as guiding you subconsciously into undertaking a more active lifestyle. e.g. using the stairs and not the elevator, walking to the shop instead of driving. When your preparing meals the new "slim people's" behaviour takes over so you automatically choose the low calorie meal. If your eating out and have to choose from a variety of foods you will automatically choose the lower calorie alternatives and avoid the high calorie weight inducing ones. The hypnotic suggestions also help you to feel good about these choices thereby reinforcing the slim behaviour.

Every time you listen to the therapy it's effect will be increased due to the inbuilt suggestions that this will happen.

It's an easy, convenient and enjoyable way to lose weight because all you have to do is allow the time to find a quiet place to relax, listen and allow the power of your own subconscious will to work for you. You will have to undertake the therapy daily initially but after a couple of weeks just allow 2 or 3 sessions a week .

Many studies in the scientific literature prove that this type of therapy works. For example in a study by Kirsch (J Consult Clin Psychology 1996), it was found that adding hypnosis to conventional therapy led to an average 5.37kg weight loss versus only 2.72kg for the group not using hypnosis and that "the benefits of hypnosis increased substantially over time" .

Another study by Bolocofsky et al.(J Clin Psychol 1985) showed in 109 subjects at 8 month and 2 year follow ups the hypnosis group showed "significant additional weight loss" while the non hypnosis group "exhibited little further change".
